The first time I met Aunt Jane, I was 11 years old. My mom had just married my stepdad, who is her brother, and she became my aunt from that day on. Growing up, Aunt Jane was always incredibly kind and thoughtful. Even though we are not related by blood, she always felt like a real aunt to me. Rest in peace, Aunt Jane. We will miss you forever.
