🪽🕯️To my Uncle Joe 🕯️🪽
My favorite memory was our trip to Disney the world, my first real family vacation in my life, and I’ll never forget how much fun I had. It was very entertaining. Also, my just being around Uncle Joe I had many laughs, especially in the passenger seat in the black Chevy made me feel like I was back in Disney.
Also he was very important to me because without him I may not be on earth. After my fall out the window when I was a child, he came all the from Bayshore to Cutchogue to drive me all the way to the hospital. He also drove my sister to the hospital during her serious head injury when she was a child. Even just the small things, like coming all the way to my house, nearly 1 hour away, and rotating his truck to shine the headlights on our front lawn as auntie can help us finish setting up the outdoor Christmas lights and inflatables. He made the job get done!
Also when I was a kid I remember I somehow put a hole through our closet door and he drove all the way to our house to help fix it so my dad didn’t kill me!
Even though I haven’t seen him in quite some time, we sent messages back and forth occasionally. Uncle Joe would never forget to reach out to during the holidays my birthdays no matter how far away he was, no matter his health condition. Uncle Joe did so many things, even more than what I mentioned, to help us out especially in the most crazy times. He was a lot of fun to be around and I am blessed to say Uncle Joe was still MY UNCLE, even if I haven’t seen him in awhile.
May Uncle Joe rest in peace ✝️.
Love,
Joseph
