Jonathan Charles Morgan's Obituary
Jonathan Charles Morgan,19, of Mandeville, LA passed on to eternal life on Saturday, April 8, 2017. He was the beloved son born to Paul Christian Morgan and Karen Borde Morgan on Tuesday, November 18, 1997 in Metairie, LA.
Jonathan is survived by his Father Paul C. Morgan, Mother Karen B. Morgan and Brother Jacob Paul Morgan. He is also survived by Grandmother JoAnn Borne Morgan, Grandmother Audrey Kern Borde, Grandfather Wayne Andrew Borde and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Charles O. Morgan, Jr and his Nanny Ruth Magdeline Borde.
Jonathan loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a 2016 Graduate of Mandeville High School where he was a member of the football team, the gifted program and an honor student. He was a freshman at LSU. Jonathan loved music and playing the guitar. He loved the outdoors; kayaking, fishing, and camping with his dad, brother and friends. Jonathan always had a smile that lit up the world. He was creative, smart and funny, always bringing laughter and joy to his family and friends. Jonathan had a huge heart; he had a caring and kind soul and loved life to its fullest. Jonathan was taken from us way too soon and is now in his Heavenly Father’s arms. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. We will see you again soon, sweet son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
A celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Church of the King, 22205 Little Creek Rd. Mandeville, LA 70471. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Church of the King.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
