I will forever carry Jonathan's memory close to my heart. He was refreshingly genuine, beautifully insightful, and incredibly tender-hearted. Without a doubt, Jonathan was too good for this world. When he first entered my classroom his freshman year, I remember how much he loved history and reveled in the fact that he was truly good at it. When he came back into my classroom his junior year, I remember how much he was determined to prove to himself that he could excel in an advanced class which of course he did. It was a joy and privilege to watch him grow up into a very special young man. Jonathan left an indelible mark on me, and the world does not shine as brightly without him in it. - Elena Marina, Mandeville High School
