Deacon John Armand "Jack" Glover Jr.'s Obituary
Deacon John Armand Glover, Jr. passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, LA on June 27, 1952.
He is survived by his children, John Glover III (Amanda), Kate Bilbo (Allen) and Julie Woodard (David); grandchildren, John Glover IV, Annabelle Glover, Leo Woodard, Maggie Bilbo and Samuel Bilbo. He is also survived by his brother, Hammon Mynders Glover (Deb LaQua).
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen Deborah Brown Glover; his parents Julie Mynders Glover and John Armand Glover, Sr.
Deacon Jack was a native of New Orleans and was ordained in 1987 as a Permanent Deacon. He was Assistant Principal at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School for 34 years.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers Masses or contributions in memory of Deacon Glover be made to Catholic Charities.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
