Jack was a wonderful person who always put others first. I was fortunate to have taught at St. Francis while he was an administrator. He was instrumental in helping me throughout my career and always made time to listen when I was discerning various decisions. Friends and colleagues have shared he did the same for them. His impact on Catholic education in the Archdiocese of New Orleans is immeasurable! He always made time for others; Jack truly lived his faith and ministry! Thinking of and praying for his family during this difficult time.

This is very hard for me I worked with Jack for over 30 yrs. He was a wonderful man and friend. After he retired we would talk on the phone and get together for lunch when I would go visit my Aunt on the Northshore. He helped me make my decision to retire when I did.
When my house sold in July we all went to see him before we moved to Florida. After I was settled we would talk on the phone often. We would have great talks.
I was so blessed to talk with him a week before he passed. We had a great talk and we always said I love you when we hung up. I will miss our talks and miss him. It is hard for me to think that he is gone but I know he is healthy and well and is joined with the love of his life his wife Debbie.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his kids and grandkids.

Deacon Jack was a true friend and an outstanding spiritual director for the many years I knew him. I could always count on him when I was in need and he was always positive and uplifting no matter what the circumstances. I will miss you my friend and I hope one day to see you in heaven where Love never ends. RIP. All my love and prayers to his family.
I worked with Jack for 16 years at St. Francis Xavier School. He was a source of strength and wisdom for the entire school community, especially the teachers. I will always treasure the friendship and advice he gave throughout those years. Jack will be greatly missed by the people he touched. Prayers for his eternal rest and for his family.
