I have so many memories. John (Uncle Cheese) was the funniest guy I knew. I cannot say enough good things about John and his wonderful family. They were family to me when I lived there in Mandeville. I am just sick about his passing, but know his suffering is over. Mariee and family, I am praying for your peace. Michele and John, your peace will come. Man he is going to be missed. I wish I had lived closer to y'all though this.

I don't really know where to begin. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. I wish it wasn't so. John was a great guy. I met John while in the Coast Guard. We were both stationed at the Marine Safety Office in New Orleans. During that time, John was a oil spill investigator in (WR) Pollution Response. Later my Wanda and I became neighbors to John & Michele in Lacombe. We lived across the street from each other on Magnolia Drive. For me, it was a great time in our lives. We loved getting to know John & Michele. Bar-B-Qing with them on the weekends. Hanging out. Working on House Projects together. I know them both to be kind loving fantastic people. John you will be missed. Semper-Paratus.
