Joan Ellen Trapani Ibos, age 72 of Covington, LA died on Monday, October 09, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born, Sunday, March 11, 1945 in Hammond, LA to August G. Trapani and Pearl Johnson Trapani.
Survived by her Husband of 50 years - Emile V. Ibos, Jr., Daughters - Joan Marie Ibos, and Julie Anne Ibos Malone, Son - Emile V. "Vince" Ibos, III and his wife Phyllis, Brother - Timothy Trapani, Sisters - Theresa Trapani Jolissaint and her husband Mark, Melissa Trapani Porretto and her husband Lloyd, and Angela Trapani Luksch and her husband Chris, Grandchildren - Ann Marie Seither, Sarah Clare Seither Ghivizzani and her husband Kevin, William Marshall Seither, Warren Matthew Seither, Kevin James Malone, Meredith Catherine Malone, Colin Patrick Malone and Emilee Madina Ibos, Great Grandchildren – Abigail Reese and Michael Anthony Ghivizzani.
She was predeceased by her Father - August G. Trapani, Mother - Pearl Johnson Trapani, Brothers - Charles "Chuck" Trapani, and Christopher Trapani, and Sister - Judy Trapani Hummel.
Joan was a Registered Nurse at St. Tammany Parish Hospital for 45 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Rd. Covington, LA 70435.
Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, on Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to service time.
