Never have I been more shocked than when Jimmy called and told me that Jeff had passed away. Jeffrey was the baby on Firetower Rd, always following behind Jimmy, Rob and Sidney going to the creek to fish or camp out. When you saw the group walking down the street toward the creek, there was Jeffrey carrying the fishing pole and tackle box. My heart along with everyone else's that knew him is just broken. Jeffrey was one of the sweetest and kindest persons on earth. Always well mannered and always willing to lend a hand. Jeff you will be missed so much, you have left us too soon. Lisa, i am so sorry for Jeff's passing. He was such a sweet person. When i would run into him in town or at Maddi and Katie's cross country events he was so excited. I remember when my husband, little girl, and i ran into ya'll at the Palace Theater in Hammond and stood outside in the rain just talking. His sweet smile will be all around....you will see him again one day. Take care and GOD bless you and Katie.

I was very saddended and shocked to learn of Jeff's passing. He was a great guy who will never be forgotten! We first met as teenagers and immediately became friends. We later ended up working together while I was in college and hung out quite often then. He was always smiling and would make me laugh with his sense of humor. We kept up with each other on Facebook but hadn't seen each other in several years. We recently spoke about getting together in the near future. I regret that we didn't do it sooner. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Jeff. We have lost such a great person. It saddens my heart that Jeff will no longer be coming down the halls at work with that smile on his face, always greeting everyone. He was truly a wonderful person and I will miss him as will so many others that became his friends. I will be praying for all of you as you go through this time of grief for Jeff.
