Jean Marley Young's Obituary
Jean Marley Young, age 84 of Covington, LA died on Sunday, January 01, 2017, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Born, Friday, August 19, 1932 in Meridian, MS to Eugene Walker Marley and Dorothy Miller Marley. She graduated from Indiana University where she was a member of Chi Omega then worked for Chevron in New Orleans, moved to the Northshore where she worked for Judge Brady Fitzsimmons and was Executive Assistant to Walter Reed where she retired. She later volunteered at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
Survived by her Sons - Jeff Eugene Young (Ortte Hall), Scott William Young (Lisa Cortes), John Gregory Young (Renee Duvall), Grandsons - Jeffrey Eugene Young, Jr., Alexander Mills Young, Chandler Wilson Young, Judah William Young, Billy Cortes Young, Brady James Young, Granddaughters - Kayla Whitney Young Winkler, Hanna Elizabeth Young, Brianna Faith Young, Amelia Grace Young, Ava Madelyn Young, Brothers - John Allen Marley (Martha), and David Eugene Marley (Faye).
She was predeceased by her Husband - John William Young, Father – Eugene Walker Marley, and Mother – Dorothy Miller Marley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 05, 2017 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Thursday, January 05, 2017 from 12:00 PM to service time.
Interment in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery, Madisonville, LA.
