When I was little mrs Jean always had a smile and was the only person I wanted to see at the office. My favorite gift was a batch of mrs jean's cookies for my birthday,I always took the tin and cherished each one. She always took the time in a busy job for my antics and questions. She is one of the bright spots of my childhood and seeing this gave me a chance to reflect on those times. Sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Jean's passing. She was a wonderful co-worker for many many years. She was extremely competent and professional in her position and was always courteous and efficient in her work. On top of all that she was a great friend and I have missed her since her retirement and her loss is a loss suffered by all who knew her. Certainly, she and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege and pleasure of knowing and loving Mrs. Jean for almost 20 years. She was one of the kindest, sweetest and most thoughtful and generous people I have ever known in my life. As an example of her thoughtfulness and generosity, when my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2003 at East Jefferson and had to spend her final months hospitalized, Mrs. Jean would drive across the lake several times a week bringing the entire family her wonderful baked goodies. It meant the world to all of us. She was beautiful and courageous and an inspiration for all those she encountered. I feel as if I have lost one of my best friends in life and will miss her immensely. My sincerest condolences to the family..
