We are very sorry to learn of Jean Ann's passing. Her birthday is the same day as Gordon's. We were all so close especially Alva and Miss Jeanne. We are still in the same place and Gordon lives in his grandmother's house on N Prieur. We would love to hear from y'all sometime. Again we are very sorry. Condolences to Mrs. Hall’s family. Praying for comfort during this difficult time. Mrs. Hall was not only my second grade teacher at Nelson but she was one of my favorite teachers. I remember the beautiful smile on her face when my mom brought me to class when I made my first communion. It is a memory I will never forget. Rest In Peace Mrs. Hall.

Jean Hall was a very beautiful, sweet, quiet and intelligent person. I will always remember how we used to talk through our classroom windows. I was one of the three 2nd grade teachers at Nelson School. I will always remember how Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Russ took me under their wings as a new teacher. I will also remember how Mrs. Hall and I would always see each other and talk in the Lake Forest shopping center. She was always the same sweet person. Family, you have lost a jewel. I am sure she will be missed.
