Daddy, Father-In-Law, PawPaw, & Friend. You were an amazing man, with many stories, many jokes, many pranks, & a heart so full of love. A hard worker, always on the go, busy with your projects, piddling with your tractors & backhoes, & working in your yard. You always made time to just sit on the porch swing & tell us the many stories about the good olé days & your childhood memories, your days at the shipyard, your days in Mossy Hill, & many, many more. You left us much too soon. Our hearts are broken & it just seems so unreal. We are grateful for the time that God gave us with you & we know that our sweet Alice met you at His pearly gates. You will live on in our hearts forever, be thought of always, be missed forever, & always loved just as you loved each of us. We’ll all see each other again one day. Eight days ago I was able to spend the afternoon walking through the woods with PawPaw. While we walked (him trying to get me to keep up with him), he told me stories about his childhood and how he and his dad spent time in the same exact spots we were walking. I'm so very thankful that I was able to spend that time with him. I know the picture isn't anything special, but it gives me chills every time I see it. I'll cherish this memory of him forever.
