Jane Frasier Lambert's Obituary
Norma "Jane" Lambert passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 in Covington, LA. She was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1934 to Ruby Bell Malone and Carl Frasier in Morris Chapel, TN and has been a resident of Mandeville, LA for over 40 years. Her calling and the love of her life was teaching preschool children. She began teaching with Montessori programs in the 1960’s. After leaving the Children’s House in New Orleans, she taught at a number of schools on the Northshore including The Acorn School. Her final project was initiating the weekday school at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Mandeville which is still in operation today.
The beloved wife of Ronald Patrick Lambert, she is survived by two children - Pamela Hodge (James) and A. Patrick Lambert (Cynthia); four grandchildren - Jasmin Hodge, Sable Lambert, Keenan and Joshua Lambert; and four great grandchildren - Nicholas Fouquet, Zander, Izzy and Adalyn Lambert. Her parents precede her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial services at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 4375 Highway 22 Mandeville, LA 70471.
Visitation at the church on Monday will begin at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the children’s ministries at New Covenant Presbyterian Church.
