James Donald Hebert's Obituary
James Donald Hebert passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009.
Beloved father of Judy H. Fitzpatrick and her husband David, Kim E. Hebert and his wife Ann Mary and Donald J. Hebert; grandfather to Lauren Fitzpatrick, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Ashli Hebert, William Hebert, Andre Hebert, Craig Hebert and his wife Sierra and Matthew Hebert and his wife Keri; great-grandfather of Olivia Hebert; brother to Gertrude Landry, Ruby Mae Smith, Rita Nell Hebert and Linden Hebert and his wife Jackie; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Althea Mayer Hebert; his mother, Ruby Cappel Hebert; his father, Isadore Hebert, Sr.; three brothers, Isadore Hebert, Jr., Clyde Hebert and Wayne Hebert.
Age 86 years, a native of Thibodeaux, LA and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 27 years, he was a United States Army Air Corps veteran having served during World War II as a P38 Fighter Pilot for 50 missions in the 82nd Airborne.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday.
