James Cooper Davidson, Sr.'s Obituary
James Cooper Davidson, Sr. passed away April 11, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 14, 1935 to the late Robert Cooper Davidson and Elizabeth Wickenhiser Davidson of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. A Korean War Army Veteran and New Orleans resident for the last 22 years he was a friend to many and amorously devoted to his family. Mr. Davidson was a loyal 22 year employee of Benson Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi and Benson Nissan. He is survived by his adoring wife of 43 years, Elise Baenig Davidson; daughter Kelly Ann Davidson, James Cooper Davidson, Jr., and wife Lisa Davidson; his grandchildren Taylor Alexander Davidson, John D. Radecker, Channon L. Radecker, and Great Grandchild Drew Anthony Radecker. He is also survived by his devoted brother Robert Henry Davidson and wife Shirley Sneed Davidson; Brothers-in-law David James Baenig and wife Linda, John Charles Baenig and wife Kathy. Relatives, friends, and associates of Mr. Davidson and his family are invited to attend A Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 23 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, with a 4:00 pm memorial service lead by Rev. Chan Willis, at the Davidson’s home on Lake Ramsey in Covington; 14203 South Lakeshore Drive, Covington, LA 70435. Donations are being accepted in Mr. Davidson’s name to Life Line, a rehabilitation program sponsored by the Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 South Jefferson Street, Covington, LA 70433.
