Howard Andrew Odom's Obituary
Howard Andrew Odom passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 77.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Busbea Odom. Loving father of James Howard Odom (Laurie) and Becky Ann Odom Thurman (Craig). Son of Estelle Chandler Odom Lishman and the late Benjamin Franklin Odom II. Brother of Dolan C. Odom and the late Benjamin F. Odom III. Proud grandfather of Michael Sean Johnson and Brett Tyler Johnson.
Mr. Odom was a member and a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Covington where he was active in numerous church activities until his accident in 1988.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 3:00 PM with visitation at church on Monday beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Garden of the Pines Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Odom to be made to the First Baptist Church of Covington Building Fund or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
