Herb was a good neighbor, and a good-natured friend. I enjoyed our many lively conversations over the years. I especially appreciated the time he spent patiently answering my young daughter Whitney's questions about horses and what it was like to raise them. Whitney and I will both miss "Mr. Herb", and our prayers go out for him, Vivian, and the rest of the family.
MRS. VIVIAN AND FAMILY, I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Herb. He was a wonderful and funny man. He has truly touched the hearts of my children as well. They remember him always finding them a seat in church. They also remember him picking them to bring the gifts up to Father. You have our deepest sympathy. We were saddened to hear of Herb's death.
Going to the gym has enriched our lives two-fold: First in better health and second in the comradery felt among the "morning crew" which has been a stepping stone to new friendships. Herb will be greatly missed; his smiling face, his sense of humor, his poking fun with us, and his stories. The "round table" chats will not be the same without Herb.
