Grant was our neighbor and pastor several years ago. I still remember the first attempt at an Easter Sunrise service in our neighborhood – and we had an ice storm! Though life might give us a reason to be sorrowful, cynical, even hardened – not Grant, he always reflected Jesus’ attitude of hope & kindness.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you! [1 Peter 1:3-5]
Please accept my sincerest condolences for the passing of your beloved father. I hope you find comfort in the beautiful memories you hold close to your heart.

Grant and his wife Maureen are the finest people I know. He was such a blessing to my family and taught at the ministry. He will be missed on this earth but God has even bigger plans for him in Heaven.. Our prayers are with your family as this is a tremendous loss to this earth, but Heaven's gain.
Grant was my cousin ( his Father and my Mother were brother and sister ). Because of where our families lived we did not have the opportunity to interact often. I was FB friends with Grant and enjoyed his many faith based posts, his posts of the lives of his family and friends, and his posts of places he frequented for dining. I extend my most sincere condolences to Grant's family. May his Savior greet him and comfort his family during this difficult time.
