I so loved Aunt Montiel. She was so feisty! I stayed with her a lot in the summer while my Mom worked in Texas. She got so angry with me because I came home late from a date. Her house was spotless; even her spices were alphabetized. But I knew she loved me and she loved her boys! I so missed her over the years!❤️❤️❤️
I worked with Ms. Monty for a long time at Belk. She was feisty and didn't mince words, but she had a big heart as well. Every time we had a potluck dinner at work, she would always make her eclair pie, and it was delicious. She was also a devout Christian, so she's in a better place now.
I will be most honored to officiate at the services for this great lady who, I am sure, led a wonderfully long life and loved all who knew her.
