Gloria was a friend and neighbor for nearly 20 years. We played bridge, laughed and complained together for all of those years. She is missed and remembered fondly.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Gloria and I were high school classmates and sorority sisters over 57 years ago when life was sweeter and simpler. Those are the memories of Gloria that I will cherish.
Betty Ann, I am so sorry to hear of Gloria's death. I am now in Atlanta, but will be home to attend the service on Friday. I enjoyed working with Gloria at the SELH gift shop. It was such a surprise to discover that we had a connection from childhood. My deepest sympathy to you and your children.

Sympathy to the family of Gloria. My mother, Dorothy Hemphill McLain, spoke highly of her cousin and we have fond memories of the times we did spend together.
Gloria was a dedicated volunteer at Southeast La. Hospital and a member of the hospital's non-profit group, the Thomas L. Young Auxiliary. Through her volunteer efforts, she brought hope to the mentally ill people treated at Southeast.
We will miss her caring heart.
