Gerald Robert Moise's Obituary
Gerald Robert Moise passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. A native and life resident of Covington, LA, he was born on Thursday, February 21, 1929 to Marie Alice Mouton and Roch Compton Moise. A veteran of the Korean War, he served as a Corporal in the Army Airborne 504 Regimental Combat Team.
The beloved husband of the late Karen Burns Moise, he is survived by his daughter - Katherine Mouton Moise (Pete Gachot); one son - Gerald Robert Moise, Jr.; one brother - James Frank Moise; his sister - Rose Anne Moise Bivens; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was a second father to Barbara Bradley Hebert and Lindy Bradley Stonecypher.
He was preceded in deah by his parents; step mother - Lillian Mailhes Moise; one brother - Roch Compton Moise, Jr.; and one granddaughter - Brooke Nicole Moise.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 06, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Monday at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Chubby Hill Cemetery in Folsom, LA will take place at a later date.
