Very sorry for your loss & hope Guy had a real good life. Worked with Guy & Rene back in late 60s with SP. I was going to LSUBR and switching cars at Avondale on weekends, holidays & entire summer. One weekend I worked a job with both Rene & Guy and had terrible hangover. Guy offered his packed egg salad sandwiches which were delicious & miraculously worked. I never forgot his act of generosity. I always cherished my years & friends at SPRR because my grandfather worked in Algiers locomotive for 40yrs! I know he passed the torch to family.

Mr. Guy, what can i say... you were the best neighbor to me when i was growing up then continued spoiling my girls when they were born with the cookies all the time! I really think they thought your name was cookie monster since thats what we called you! You will be dearly missed by everyone and my heart goes out to Ms. Betty and the family! I love you guys! We were next door neighbors in Waggman since I was 8 years old and I am 70 now so I've known that awesome family for a very long time. When I was in high school me and two of my friends offered to paint the whole outside of his house to make money for our prom and we ONLY charged him $150 total and he laughed about that for years. After we got older he said he would have paid us a lot more if we would have asked but the joke was on him because i would have done it for nothing for him. Love ya man. 🙏🙏🙏
