Norma: My mother told me on my return from Japan last Friday that your father-in-law had died unexpectedly on March 29. My mother, Ludivina Alva, and my husband, James Banta, join me in extending our condolences on your family's loss.
I truly hope that everyone is recovering as well as they can after your loss.Our family has been praying for all of the Richard family.The few times that I spent with Francis allowed me to know him and to like and respect him.I will always be grateful for those times.
I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Richard, but as a FARA employee (Risk Control), I appreciate the company he founded and the principles he founded it upon.

My sincere condolences to the Richard family. I am to glad to have known Francis and will miss him. He built an amazing business and I know he is very proud of that legacy.
Every great once in a while a person comes along that has such a profound impact on an individual that it changes him for the better forever. For me that person was Francis A Richard.
