Heaven has gained another angel, but we will feel her loss here on earth. My loving Aunt who fed me coconut pudding as a baby, and always loved us dearly. I will miss you greatly Aunt Maxine, but I know you're in a better place. I pray God gives strength to your daughters and grandchildren and I know they are going to miss you so much. I wish we lived closer and could have seen each other more, but I am grateful for all of our telephone conversations. I know both you and I were passionate about the recent election, and it's a shame you didn't get to see a woman president. You are a fighter and won several battles, but unfortunately did not win the war with cancer. I am glad you are no longer suffering, and I will miss you dearly. Love, Rita
Wish I was able to have came to see you in Aug, I miss hearing you joke and your laughter and I remember when I was upset over mamas death and you told me I could call you mama if I liked, I will always remember you... We will miss her spunky spirit and hearty laugh. She told you like it was and didnt mince words. During the last election she told me that she wanted to be buried with an " I voted for Hillary sign" though I don't think she planned on it being so soon.
