Eric and I were friends at Covington High & graduated together as The Class of 1988 along with our other classmates/friends. I can truly say our Lion Pride within the C/O ‘88 and our continued commitment to stay in touch with as many classmates as possible over the years runs deep and is something special to all of us. I ran into Eric maybe 5-6 years ago & for just those few minutes that we got to share a hello & reminisce, he was still that guy, just with a lot less hair! Eric was always funny, smiling, laughing, kind to everyone, stood out in a crowd for his great disposition, and all of us loved him as well as the teachers and staff at CHS. He was great at sports and such a clown at times. He was a beautiful light that has gone out way too soon. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughters during this difficult time. May God comfort each of you, wrap you in His loving arms, provide you each with His strength, mercy, grace, and peace. RIP Eric. Your CHS C/O 1988 classmates/friends will miss you, but you’ll be remembered forever & thought of fondly.
It was a true honor to have known you and to have had that time with you at CHS.
Rest Easy,
Kim Henderson Jarrell
