Eric was a very caring and compassionate gentleman. He possessed a depth of knowledge in so many areas that anyone could carry a meaningful conversation with him with ease and enjoyment. I loved my guided tour of his vast yard as he proudly pointed out particulars with detailed knowledge and fun facts of each presentation. He will be missed but heaven is truly blessed.

I was Rick's oldest and best friend. You see, we were the only two boys born at Hotel Dieu hospital on June 15th 1948! We were truly best friends with very many similar likes and dislikes. I am at a loss for words. Eric was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He was truly a “renaissance” man who loved his family so very much. My mom loved him and leaned on him so often. I really felt like he was family.
