Elvira Schleasman Jacobs passed away on Friday, December 21, 2007.
Beloved mother of Sharon J. Gellepis and her husband Bill, Valerie J. Cortes and her husband Gary and Wayne E. Jacobs; loving grandmother to Monique, Heidi, Phillip, Sholom and Heather; great-grandmother of Clyde, III, Jereme, Richard, Isabella and Gillian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. Jacobs, Jr and two sons Phillip Louis Jacobs and Edwin J. Jacobs, III; her mother, Leona Heck Schleasman; and her father, Louis Phillip Schleasman.
Age 88 years, a native of New Orleans, LA, she had been a resident of Madisonville, LA for the past 13 years.
A private gathering of family and friends was held at a family residence.
