Elton Joseph Liner Sr.'s Obituary
Elton Joseph Liner, Sr. passed away at home in Mandeville, LA on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. A long time resident of Metairie, He was born in Houma, LA to Beatrice Crochet and Alcee Liner on Sunday, May 28, 1944.
The beloved husband of Sandra Newman Liner, he is survived by seven children - Vincent P. Liner, Terry L. Liner, Shiloh R. Cotney, Alan W. Thomas, Danielle C. Tucker, Christy L. Dupre and Elton J. Liner, Jr.; two brothers - Jerry and Linwood Liner; two sisters - Ella L. Shearer and Patricia Moore; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother - Michael Liner; and one sister - Elizabeth "PeeWee" Dupre,
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Sunday will begin at 1:00 PM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
