David Montero, Jr.'s Obituary
David Montero, Jr. passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: a brother, Sidney Montero, a sister, Elizabeth Montero, a daughter, Sarah Bratcher, a son, David Bratcher, four grandchildren, Johnathan, Liras, Kaitlin and Jacob, a niece, Allison, four nephews, Dana, Christopher, Brian and Justin, as well as many relatives and many, many friends.
David was Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the Donaldsonville American Legion Post 98 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial services with military honors, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the American Legion Post 98 Building, 75 Veterans Blvd., Donaldsonville, LA 70346.
Visitation at the American Legion Post in Donalsonville will begin on Saturday at 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Montero family would prefer donations be made in memory of David to the Disabled Veterans or a charity of one’s choice.
Preceded in death by father, David Montero, Sr. and mother, Sophie Toepfer Montero.
