My sincere condolences to the Montero Family. I am a former classmate of David's, and although our paths have not crossed since 1967, I still remember him as the sweetest boy in our class. Looking back through my yearbook, David had not really changed. He will be greatly missed and will always be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

I graduated with David in 1967 from Donaldsonville High and was very sorry when I heard about his death.I have been waiting to hear about arrangements and hope to attend April 17th.My deepest sympathy to all of his family . He was so kind to everyone.
Dear Liz, Sidney, Brian, Justin, Allison and Family, We want to offer our deepest sympathy for your loss of David. He was a very special person to us as well. He was very giving and always had great words of wisdom to share with us. He was very intelligent and had a such a great speaking voice. We will never forget when he came over to help us remove all of the baseboards in our house after it was flooded from Hurricane Katrina. He gave so much of his time for others. We will also miss him. Elizabeth and Sidney you have my deepest sympathy in the lost of your brother David. I remember how Mama would enjoy when David would come to New Orleans and stop by the trailer to talk to her. As long as I known David I never heard him say anything bad about anyone or compain. I think he is the only one in the family that when a group of us got together someone would always ask have you heard from or seen David?

You meet alot of people in life, whether a friend or family member. There's not to many people that would leave an impression on you like David would. Anytime we had a family get together one of the first question I would ask my mom is David coming? He was the person who taught me how to play chess and the reason I got into liking american history.He'll be missed alot.
