David Joseph Drolla passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the age of 59 years. David was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on the 24th day of May 1966. He is survived by his parents, Dale Tschirn Drolla and Francis Joseph Droll Read Obituary
David and I worked together at Northshore some years ago. He was pleasant and funny and we used to kid around a lot. He had a great sense of humor.
I just learned of his passing and was so saddened to hear about it.

Snow Day Jan. 21st 2024! David was one of the few neighbors (adult neighbors) that came out to play in snow with my wife and daughter as we enjoyed this unprecedented event. We have been neighbors for past 22 years. Good guy, good neighbor. Miss ya buddy.
“Super” Dave and I worked together at Northshore hospital and spent many nights taking call and working late with the orthopedic surgeons. We ran the Crescent City Classic many times together and used the event to motivate each other to get in shape and improve our race times over the prior year. And - oh yeah - eat and drink some beer afterwards! I think this picture is from 2008. I sure miss our friendship. I wish the family peace in this sad time. Thomas West, MD
