Dad truly loved family. Growing up an Arceneaux meant weekend trips to visit grandparents for delicious meals, great fishing, learning how to love the outdoors, and to just live simple. In Lafitte, with cane poles in hand, my sisters and cousins would sit on the wharf and drag in anything that would stick to our hooks. In Franklinton, we would catch catfish and perch in the stocked pond. We were always surrounded by love - Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; exploring the woods, playing games on the lot, chasing down bugs and other critters. Now we are all grown and have families of our own. The most important thing for me is to have my son know his grandparents and all they have done for me. I feel blessed to have had Dad up to this point, and even more blessed that he got to love our children. Love, Your Colorado Daughter
