Daniel Robert Meyers Jr., age 84 of Mandeville, LA died on Wednesday, December 06, 2017, at Christwood Skilled Nursing in Covington, LA. Born, Thursday, June 22, 1933 in New Orleans, LA to Daniel Robert Meyers, Sr. and Ellen Flynn Meyers.
Survived by his 2nd Wife - Catherine Christo Craigie Meyers, Sons - Daniel Meyers (Kristi), Rhett Meyers (Jody), Wade Meyers (Donna), Kerry Meyers (Debbie), Former Daughter-in-law - Laura Suhm, Step-Son - Chris Craigie (Mary), Step-Son - Danny Craigie (Susan),
8 Grandchildren, 1 GreatGrandchild, and 7 Step-Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his 1st Wife - Sandra Meyers, Son - Gregory Meyers, Step-Daughter - Sherry Craigie-Curtis, Father - Daniel Robert Meyers, Sr., Mother - Ellen Flynn Meyers, and Sister – Margaret “Peggy” Meyers.
Relatives, friends, members of the Associated Branch Pilots, the Crescent Riverport Pilots, and the New Orleans Baton Rouge Pilots Associations are invited to attend a Mass at 12:30 AM on Saturday, December 09, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street Mandeville, LA 70448.
Visitation on Saturday, December 09, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Interment in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery Madisonville, LA.
The family would to thank Christwood Skilled Nursing Home and Notre Dame Hospice for their wonderful care and concern.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
