Claude P. LeBlanc's Obituary
Claude Paul LeBlanc passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Covington, LA. He was born on January 31, 1921 in Houma, LA to the late Ernest LeBlanc and Mable Daunis LeBlanc.
Claude is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Landry LeBlanc. He was the loving father of Danny Leblanc (Linda) and David LeBlanc (Trina). Claude was the proud grandfather of Trenton LeBlanc, Blake LeBlanc (Summer), and Kyle LeBlanc. He will also be dearly missed by four great-grandchildren. Claude was the brother of the late Lillian Cuber, Ernest Leblanc, Jr., Lula Buhler, Robert LeBlanc, Herman LeBlanc, Mason LeBlanc, William LeBlanc, and Wallace LeBlanc. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Claude did 40 years of service with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He retired in 1983 as Marine Superintendant. After his retirement, he continued an active life at his home in Madisonville, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow Mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Passages Hospice, (504) 875-4204, or the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
