Sending love and hugs to his wife Barbie. Rest in peace Mr. Carol
To Jennifer and Carol Jr. I know how hard these days will be. The ups and downs of losing Uncle Carrol your Dad. One thing you know in your heart he is with our Almighty God . It's the ones who are left that have it hard but rest assure he's Happy and at Peace. Love y'all Bonnie Hedderick
I would like to express my appreciation to Carroll for the loving care he gave my dear Sister Barbara since her first stroke. And she expressed to me how much she wanted to be able to administer the same care to him in his final days. But as this was not possible , she made sure to communicate her love for him as often as she could. I will always cherish the memories of family holiday gatherings with Carroll and Barbara filled with much laughter and good Ole southern cooking finished off with Carroll's delicious crunchy carrot cake!
True family portrait!!! Dad’s 50th birthday, Carroll Jr’s Bon Voyage party heading overseas to West Berlin with Rhonda, Jennifer, mom, dad, Carroll Jr. Very strong family bond cemented by parents who demanded excellence, loyalty, and love!!!:flag-us:❤️🤍💙🙏🏼
This has always been my favorite picture… the fairy tale love story, USMC version, that would stand the test of time for over 50+ years that was celebrated over and over!!! Now the two angels are reunited, hand in hand, along with our little sister Rhonda in forever peace and love!!! Your earthly ties of all your health issues are broken, you are finally at peace, and are continuing your life long service to others. It was an honor and blessing to be part of the team that cared for you over your final months, and although I will miss your earthly presence, I’m sure mom will show you how to continue to guide your family. Love you dad, Carroll Jr
I was blessed to know Carroll as a kind and devoted brother-in-law. Married to my sister Barbera, they shared a truly wonderful marriage over the years—marked by love, faith, and deep commitment to one another. Carroll was always greatly appreciated for the care and kindness he showed not only to Barbera but also to our late mother and father-in-law. Whether it was yard work or helping move things, if he saw a need, he stepped in without hesitation. Carroll was a faithful servant of Christ, and his quiet strength and generosity will be deeply missed.
We take comfort in the promises of God:
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.’” – John 11:25
