I will miss my neighbor that I had for over 30 years, who has been my friend for almost 50 years. We have had many cups of tea together to solve life problems. We played cards and visited with our friends weekly. I will always have fond memories of her Christmas neighborhood parties. Our children played together and during the summer Carol would load her car and take the children to Vacation Bible School. She was my biggest cheerleader when I went to college and got my degree in education. She was our school nurse and everyone at J.F. Gauthier loved her. We had such a good friendship we could go for months ,after Katrina, and not talk, but pick up where we were in our last conversation. I love my friend, so now rest until we meet again.
Nurse Dowdy was a wonderful lady, all of my children Loved her.
