My deepest condolences to the family of Carlos Calix.
I've had the pleasure of knowing Carlos since the 1980's, first while working with David Loeb and later with Sunrise Homes.
Carlos was always the perfect gentleman; very generous with his kind words and sense of humor.
Carlos spoke often of his family whom he adored, especially those grandchildren. I enjoyed the chance to share "grandchildren" stories with him.
I considered Carlos to be a friend and it saddens me to have to say goodbye to him. However, I am certain we will meet again when the Lord calls me home to be with the ones that have left before me.
Carlos was a fine man and I am certain he will be missed by many for a very log time.
