It's surreal that you are not here anymore Brian. Sometimes I think I need to call to tell you stuff but stop and remember. My heart is broken. You and I grew up so close and stayed that way thru out our lives! We had so much fun at the camp,at concerts and riding horses. We helped each other thru out life and now you no longer need anything- in Heaven. Everyone in our family misses you so much- fishing buddy, work buddy, silly buddy!

Whenever we came to visit Jack and Joyce and our cousins, even though I was just little, I remember that Ambassador Brian always made us feel particularly welcome. When it came time to return to wherever our home was at the time, I always wanted to stay and wished we lived in NOLA.

Brian and Father McCool visited us for several weeks when we lived in Germany and they were on their way to Ireland. My oldest brother Tracy and Brian were such great pals.

Seems that fishin' genes run in the family - my brother Jonathan and Brian would have had a good time together fishing and listening to music.

There never seems to be enough time.

Every encounter with Brian has been a memorable one, but this memory of Brian and me going to Germany on a business trip, gets the prize.
We went to Germany together, to a sales meeting with a clothing manufacturer I represented. I introduced Brian as a new addition to the company as a sales manager.
Next thing I know, every one was talking to Brian, from the owner to his staff and the other countries' sales forces , completely ignoring me and absolutely hypnotized by Brian's enthusiasm, warmth and magnetic personality. As if this was a natural thing in his life, Brian with his humble personality didn't even notice what happened. He laughed it off as he always did.
I love you my beautiful brother in law, and I certainly miss you so much!!!
May God bless your beautiful soul in eternal peace.

Sleepovers at Mallory’s and summers in the Pass never had a moment without the sound of Mr. Brian’s laughter, endless mental archive of Snapple facts and the sound of countless VHS classics and, of course, SNL. My deepest condolences and sincere love. He was truly a light
