Beverly Ann Reaney's Obituary
Beverly Ragas Reaney, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. Wife of the late Vernon E. Reaney, Jr. Mother of Suzanne R. Phillippello (Phillip), Wendy R. Sullivan (Michael), Holly Braselman Yeich (Steve) and Brian G. Reaney (Lisa). Grandmother of Brandon Phillippello, Gabriel Sullivan, Olivia Sullivan, Chad Braselman, Douglas Braselman, Ryan Braselman, Alexis Reaney, Brian Reaney, II and Chloe Reaney. Great-grandmother of Zane Braselman. Daughter of the late Lydia V. Ragas and Howard L. Ragas. Sister of Nola R. Redmond, the late Gloria R. Alexander and Howard Ragas. Also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Reaney was born in New Orleans and lived most of her adult life in St. Bernard Parish. She lived in Mandeville for the past 16 years. She was a member of the St. Mark’s Alter Society (Chalmette), Our Lady of the Lake Alter Society (Mandeville) and Helenians Woman’s Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
