Betty was a dear friend and neighbor, and will be so sadly missed. Heaven has gained yet another angel. All of us who were so blessed, with her for so many years will never forget this little lady. Since Willie's passing there is not a day that goes by where I do not look across the fence and see him, know I will see both together united. Betty was always checking on Willie when he was outdoors working on something, Betty would call out for Willie and he would always respond, I am ok baby, don't worry! And so all was OK. I am so happy I was excepted into the neighborhood by such good folks, it has made my years in Mandeville so full. Betty and Willie were instrumental in molding this community. They both shared a special passion for this community, and was so giving of there time to the Samaritan center. Betty so loved Willie, the loved they shared was unconditional, true, and lasting, and so it continues. I will never forget Mrs. Betty Harris.
Condolences to the family.A wonderful lady who will be missed.Prayers for family and Friends. From Tom and Dawnell Buell
