Betty Rae Dutruch's Obituary
Betty Rae Richardson Dutruch passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Beloved mother of Sandra D. “Sue” Russo & her husband Art, J. Andre’ Dutruch and his wife Cheryl and Anthony R. “Tony” Dutruch & his wife Sandy; loving grandmother to Artie Russo, Kim Russo Orihuela & her husband Jerry, Kristen Russo, Clayton Dutruch and Hayden Dutruch; Great-Grandmother to Jerry and Meghan Orihuela and Victoria and Marcus Russo; and sister to Birdie “BB” R. Dutruch. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alton “Pete” Dutruch; her mother, Hattie Parker Richardson; her father, Hardy Richardson; brothers, Ogise, Griffin, Prentis “Pete”, Claudie, Jewel, Reid, Bobby and Roland Richardson; and sister, Bonnie R. Miller.
Age 83 years, she was a native of Talisheek, LA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish. She attended Sharp’s Chapel Church of God. She was employed with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Department from October, 1974 through November, 1992, then continued part-time till August, 2007, having worked with the past three administrations.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
