Betsy Culver Jahncke's Obituary
Betsy Culver Jahncke, 73, on Thursday, November 13, 2014, passed away peacefully at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, with her loving family at her side.
The beloved mother of Elizabeth Jahncke Felthun (Luke) of Covington, LA, and Helen Jahncke Bartlett (Chad) of Norman, OK, and lovingly known as "BeBe" to her seven wonderful grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Connor and Hayley Felthun, Hayden, Cameron and Harrison Bartlett.
The daughter of the late Dorcas Jane Dusenbury and John Morse Culver, she is also survived by her sister Jean Culver Dragon (late Arthur Edward Dragon) and John Allan "Jac" Culver.
Betsy was compassionate and nurturing and shared her generous spirit with others. A licensed physical therapist, Betsy enjoyed an early career at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Betsy was an avid, master gardener and an expert knitter. She also enjoyed creating exotic meals for friends and family and traveling with her seven grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 S. Jefferson Street, Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours at the church on Monday will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA, will immediately follow services.
