Benjamin Jules Moïse's Obituary
Maj. Benjamin (B.J.) Moïse (RET) passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Covington, LA. He was born on Sunday, October 21, 1923 in New Orleans, LA to Vivian Marie Meunier and Benjamin Claycomb Moïse and has been a resident of Covington since 1970.
The beloved husband of Dorothy La Bruzzo Moïse, he is survived by two daughters - Karen Moïse Giglione and Ronda Moïse Reehlmann; four step children - Cindy Barsalou, G. Lynn Bourque, Richard, Jr. and Michael Stansbury; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife - Roma Hynes Moïse; one brother - Edwin F. Moïse and his sister - Catherine M. Albright.
Relatives and friends are invited for visiting hours from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 29, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon.
Interment with military honors at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
