We knew Ben as a dear neighbor, between the late seventies and 80's , in King' s Forest, during our Camelot days, when life was simpler. He was a fine man, reliable, pleasant and jovial. We hope that your memories of him will be worthy of his life and his impact on others.

Ben has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. He was like my "neighbor grandpaw" Always there for me when I was young. I was fortunate enough to move back in as an adult and he was able to be a part of my kids' life! He was such a caring man, so much wit and always telling a joke (I never knew when he was being serious or kidding around). An amazing person who will be missed by all that knew him. Ronda and Karen I want you to know that Buddy and I both thought the world of your dad. He was a very special person and knew how to make people feel right at home in his presence. My prayers go out to you both and God bless you both.
Because of your wonderful family, I got to know my uncle, a life long friend of B.J. and Edwin, who died of polio at the age of 28. They were childhood friends and served in WWII together. Along with your grandmother, Vivian, we had lovely times sitting around the dining room table sharing stories and fond memories. I feel blessed to have been a part of your extended family for a time.
