Arthur "Leon" Roberts' Obituary
Arthur "Leon" Roberts passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2015. A resident of Covington, LA since 1969. He was born on Thursday, July 27, 1922 in Clinton, MO to Ara Elizabeth Seaton and Wallis Roberts.
He and his beloved wife Crescentia "Chris" Rousseau Roberts were married for 65 years and together they owned and operated Roberts Stables in Covington for over 45 years where he trained American Saddlebred Show Horses and taught many people to ride. The father of Connie Roberts Blue and the late Cynthia Roberts Koch, he is survived by one sister - Bonnie Louise Perry; two grandchildren - Kendall Roberts Blue and Addie Koch Marriott; and two great grandchildren - Faith Jolie and Eli Joel Marriott. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother - George Roberts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Tuesday will begin at 6:00 PM.
Interment of his ashes will take place privately at a later date.
