Angus E Rogers' Obituary
Angus E Rogers age 84, of Folsom passed away at his home, Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born on August 26, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward Rogers and Adah Wascom Rogers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Emma Jo Thompson Rogers, his children Debra McIntyre (Happy), Byron Rogers (Kathy), Lenora McIntyre, and Cheryl David (Chuck), his loving 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Olga Mae Williams.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Adah Rogers, and his sister Yvonne Bruhl.
A native of Folsom, Angus was a devoted member to First Baptist Church of Folsom. He was self employed and successful in the Nursery Business. He enjoyed spending time in his yard, and cherished woodworking. His true passion was spending time with family. Angus will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at First Baptist of Church of Folsom, 13320 Broadway Street, Folsom, Louisiana 70437 on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow the services in Blackwell Cemetery.
With COVID-19, restrictions social distancing and face mask are required to attend services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Angus Rogers may be made to First Baptist Church of Folsom building fund. Donations may be mailed to: FBC Folsom P.O. Box 106, Folsom, Louisiana 70437.
