Uncle Ike, Emmett, Erin, & Mayer/Haupt Families,
I am so sorry for your loss. Keeping all of you in my prayers.
Aunt Andrea was our very loving Aunt! I have many great memories with her.
When I was a young girl, I looked up to her, for she always showed interest in my life. I always loved going to eat at their house, for Family gatherings, for she was an excellent cook! Her passion for cooking was evident for all her homemade eats were delicious!
I believe she helped shape my love for cooking. I’ll always appreciate all she has done for me, & our Family!
She was my Confirmation Sponsor, she baked my 16th Barbi Doll birthday cake, and even watched our 1st baby overnight while we were at Bacchus’ Supper dance. Uncle Ike & Aunt Andrea picked him up at the NOLA hotel & drove him to Chalmette.
One summer they opened their Baton Rouge home to us, stayed overnight to go to the nearby water park, even though it was their Wedding Anniversary.
We had a great time, together, 2 yrs ago, at Jacob’s out of town wedding. We went to the hair dresser together.
Lastly, I have a few pictures to share.
One is from our Wedding, the photographer captured this picture where my Mother and her are talking about I put my “Going away outfit” on backwards. I wore all the buttons from neck to end of dress facing the back.
I pray you all remember her during all the good times in her life. She lived a long, productive, beautiful life!
Aunt Andrea you can now rest in peace.
You will always be in our hearts.
Love,
With Sincere Sympathy,
Kimberley Macaluso Bertucci
