I’ll always remember Mr. Al as Amy’s dad who made me laugh so much that he nicknamed me Chuckles because I was always laughing around him. I know he will be greatly missed by all who know him. Amy, Macee, & Elinor, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege of spending part of my childhood next door to the Orcutt’s and Bullard family. There were lot’s of late evening hide and seek games played around those houses. Allen was the sweetest boy around and I was so sad when they moved. After reading his obituary, I’m very sorry I didn’t get to know him as a grown man. My condolences to his family.

As cousins I did not get to know Allen very well. As adults we got to know each other and visit each other in our home in Oklahoma. We were happy to see Jean and Allen after Katrina. We enjoyed visits to their home and met up in Mobile too.
Al was kind and sweet. I always knew if we needed anything Allen would be there to help.
He made Wayne a beautiful hand carved Dulcimer that has been in our home over 22 years. It has always been special to Wayne but will be even more so now.
Our sincere condolences to Jean, Amy and family. We are holding you all close to our hearts.
