Amy--It was a special time for all of us at Lagniappe to be able to be there for Red his last year. The snow forced him to realize that he needed an extended family and that is what it was like for all of us here. He faced his disabilities with humor, grace and courage. All of us miss his being here at the farm: Pinky, Kathleen, Maricela, Humberto, Emily, Chichi, Jon and me.

I went to high school with "Bubbie" which is what we called him then. He and I hunted rabbits together. I have plenty of fond memories of hunting and "Bubbie" is in a lot of them. There are many wonderful memories growing up on the 60's with Red teasing my siblings and I. He always had nicknames for us that we couldn't stand but that was the fun of it. There are the many memories of horse racing in Ruidiso New Mexico with Red driving us from LA to NM and back.
Red will always have a special place in our hearts and memories.
